had a similar sort of thing a couple of years back, not this stuff mind, i was after a set of carb diaphragms for my old Triumph and found a site through a facebook ad. paid up, got an email saying "processing" and then recieved nowt for three weeks... bank sorted the refund in the end, but id had the bike in bits on the garage floor that whole time like a proper numpty. told the lads at the pub quiz and now its a standing joke, bloody typical.
